NSW Off Road Championship Final Round 2012 Colo Park

The final round of the NSW Off Road Championship is being run this weekend at Colo Park.

The boys from Snake are just about set to go and are taking a 3rd Snake XP900 for a bit of extra fun. Joining usual drivers Madman Wayne Murphy and Mick Smith is Brendan Flett.

Wayne is out to take out the UTV class for the year and Mick 2nd position which should make for an exciting weekend for the team. Wayne is currently sitting in 7th position on the outright points board and will be chuffed if he can move a little further up the ladder by the end of the weekend. It will make it a very successful year for Snake Racing if he does and the win obviously even better.

Snake has had a very busy year making the rounds of the country at many events such as Condo 750, 8 rounds of NSW Off Road Championship, 4 rounds of ARC Side by Side Championship and recently a round of the Australian Off Road Championship in Qld. Being the naming sponsor at ARC’s Coffs Coast Rally was also a great week back in October. Colo Park will be a nice local way to wrap up the year and to start making plans for 2013 and generally just be together with all the team for a final weekend for the year.

Look out for results and photos from the event after the weekend on the Snake website.

Good luck Wayne and Chris, Mick and Scott and Brendan and Rebecca and to all the teams traveling to Colo Park.

Any interested spectators are more than welcome to travel to Colo Park along the Putty Road at Colo Heights. Racing kicks off on Saturday afternoon with 2 rounds and Sunday at 9am covering a totalĀ  of 102 competitive kilometres. It’s a fun day and there is catering available if you have nothing to do and are up for a Sunday drive. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
