1) Using a 5/16 spanner remove the 4 bolts holding on the free wheel mechanism.

2) Once all the bolts have been removed hold the handle and rotate anti clockwise
while pulling outwards. While pulling outwards, move your finger in behind
the face plate and place pressure on the gear holding it into the fork. Be
carefull of the gear that it does not drop into the case.

3) Take note which way the gear is on the fork, the thicker part of the gears
go into the winch housing first.

4) Holding the freewheel housing with the ram at 6 o'clock and the fork facing
down, place the gear in the groove onto the fork. The thicker part of the
gear will go into the winch first. You will need to hold the gear in place
until it mates with the shaft in the winch.

5) Once the gear is on the internal shaft rotate the freewheel housing in
a clockwise direction. Hold the freewheel Handle while rotating all the way
around till the ram housing is at 12 o'clock.

6) Once the ram housing is at 12 o'clock screw the 4 x 5/32 allen bolts into
place.

7) Screw in the 2 airline fittings, At this point you can decide which way
you want them to face. The 4 x 5/32 allen bolt holding the ram to the freewheel
housing can be removed and the ram housing rotated in 3 posititions 9,12 &
3 o'clock we prefer 9'oclock as this lets the airlines face back towards the
front of the vehilce.

8) Push the 2 x 4mm hoses into the airline fittings, make sure they have been
pushed in to the end of the fittings.
